“Azul” (2022)

An artwork developed in response to a fictional extract; “The Man Who Planted Trees,” by Jean Giono.

This artwork reflects on the persistence of renewal found in Giono’s text. It is composed of layered glass panels, each carrying fragments of color and form that, when aligned, reveal a sense of cohesion and balance. Flowing hues suggest regeneration, while the transparent material embodies both fragility and strength, mirroring Giono’s rebuilding of a stone house in a barren land.
